Encouraged to pick up her pen by a determined English teacher, Tia Muhammad created her high school’s first fashion column, “Fashion Do’s and Don’ts” that she later established as its own feature at her alma mater, Indiana State University, as a Features Reporter. From that little seed, later grew a personal fashion blog, TheePinkist.com and a cultural online site, NEONPinkMagazine.com. Creating an avenue for herself and her peers to publish their thoughts and findings online, the sites featured fashion, hair, music, DIY video tutorials, in-person interviews, and food-for-thought.
Tia has professionally worked as a high-level Copywriter and Marketing Content & Media Manager in fashion, interior design and entertainment industries for over 7 years. She has held corporate positions at Bentley Mills LA, A’GACI, and HAUTELOOK | NordstromRack.com. In 2014, Tia founded boutique content and digital media company, jackieGLDN|studio that services her freelance copywriting, blogging, web design, graphic design, social media management, and brand strategy to companies across the U.S. Her work has serviced Amazon Fire TV, BlackDoctor.org, ArtHouse: A Social Kitchen, The Association of Clinical Trial Service (TACTS), Mama How You Cook This?, Citizen's of Humanity, The Wrap Life, PLAE Houston, Moms On The Move (MOTM), Hairlivery, ONCHEK, Gilt City, ESSENCE.com, SimplyBe, Daily Venus Diva, Aspen Brands Company, JET | Accounting & Tax Solutions, BOLD Magazine, and The Chase LA.
